Fiction Film is the section of the industry I have the most passion for, creating Fiction Films is something I strongly want to do as a career after University.
Over the past two years at University, I have gained valuable experience in Fiction Film, from being a Producer, Director, Editor, Sound Engineer and Writer. All these new skills have given me the desire to want to work full-time in the film industry.
I have been involved with several Fiction films over the last two years, all unique, orginal and stylistic in their own particular ways.
My main role is Director, but I have also produced short films. If I'm directing a film, I want each to be known for having a particular style and something unique, memorable for audiences.
Here is some of my work in Fiction:
'The Last Question' (2015)
'The Brightened Life' (2015)
'The Four Men: A Deceitful Story' (2016)
'The Four Men: A Deceitful Story' follows a group of men seeking fortune, in a paranoia-filled psychological drama.
When faced with their Dad’s declining health, due to Alzheimer’s, a brother and sister struggle to find a way of agreeing on what to do next. Their Father’s memory is depleting, they are losing their Dad, his name Trevor. Trevor is getting upset by this tragic turn of events, enquiring about his life’s events.
Eventually, the brother, Paul comes up with an idea, lie, lying to their Father about his life, his achievements, his success, all of it fabricated. Paul’s lies stretch from the weird, the wonderful and the absurd, on an intergalactic level. ‘BLANK CANVAS’ explores the conflict between brother and sister, a love for a parent and personal upbringings.
